PMA AWARDED AS THE OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATION FOR 2009 BY THE PRC

prc pmaPhilippine Medical Association was awarded the coveted
Outstanding Accredited Professional Organization for 2009 by the
Philippine Regulation Commission ( PRC) . The Awarding
Ceremonies of the 36th Founding Anniversary and Professional
Regulation Week was held at the Manila Hotel last June 19, 2009. The
theme was “Strengthening the Image of PRC : Integrity, Transparency
and Competence”. The PMA President, Dr. Rey Melchor Santos ,
humbly accepted the award that surpassed six other nominees for the
year from the Hon. Nicolas Lapena Jr., Chairman of the PRC.

In the picture, Dr. Santos is flanked by the PMA national officers. Also included are Hon. Leonardo A. Quisumbing, Senior Associate Justice of the Supreme Court and Guest of Honor, Hon. Mario L. Relampagos , Undersecretary of the Department of Budget and Management and Guest Speaker.
